What information do you need to help me size a system?
Applicable Models:
- RemotePro Systems
- UPSPro Systems
- MobileSolarPro Systems
Our system design team is happy to help you find the right system for your needs. In order to do so, we will need to know the maximum power draw in Watts for each piece of equipment that you plan to use, along with the operational DC voltage or type of PoE that each device uses.
This information can typically be found in the datasheet of each device. Please send us the part number or a link to the datasheet for each item that you plan to power so that we can analyze what you will need to provide the correct power to each device.
One of the crucial aspects of solar powered systems is how much sunlight you get throughout the year, so please also provide us with the zip code or city/state/country of installation so that we can look up the peak sunlight hours for the site of installation and use it in our calculations.
Once we have received this data, we will be able to recommend the correct size of system for your application along with any additional equipment (such as PoE injectors or network switches) that you may need to power your devices.
