All of our MPPT solar controllers come with two RS485 ports. These ports allow you to connect a TPDIN-Monitor-WEB3 using our TPDIN-CABLE-485 for remote monitoring of your solar system as well as for connecting a TP-SC-BT1 allowing Bluetooth connectivity through your phone to change and manage settings on the MPPT solar controller. There is also the option of using a TP-SC-USB-RS485 to connect a controller to a computer or laptop to access a web interface that allows you to program and change some settings on the MPPT solar controller. They do not provide any PoE power, these ports are for communication access only.
