I added a camera to my trailer, what can I do to cover the extra power draw?

Applicable Models:
All MobileSolarPro systems

Our MobileSolarPro trailers are designed to be modular, they can grow with your needs. You can add solar panels up to a total of 4 panels, you can add a second battery bank up to a total of 8x 12V 180Ah batteries, and you have the option of adding a wind turbine kit (RP-WTKit-2) to the trailer as a supplemental power source.

In order to determine what parts you will need, you can use the RemotePro System Power Selection Calculator found here: https://tyconsystems.com/tycon-support/tycon-calculators/

To use the calculator, enter your new maximum power draw in Watts, and use the lookup tool to find sunlight data for your area. Use the month with the lowest amount of sunlight in order to ensure that the system can run year-round.

Once you enter these variables, you will see the recommended solar capacity and battery capacity. If your system has less than the recommended solar capacity, you will want to add another solar panel or wind turbine, and if your system has less than the recommended battery capacity, you will want to add batteries in even numbers to the system.
