How critical is line of sight when using the EZ-bridge?

Applicable Models:
All EZBR models

With Wireless Bridges, a clear line of sight is always recommended. Any obstructions like trees, poles, fences, and buildings can block or reduce the power of a wireless signal. 5GHz is more sensitive to line of site issues while 2.4Ghz is more forgiving.  Microwave signals travel in straight lines.

As they go through obstacles, they lose strength. When the signal strength gets too low (-80dBm), the receiver can’t perform well. If the distance between antennas is close, they can work well through obstacles but if the antennas are far apart, a single obstacle such as a tree can drastically effect performance. It is best to try it and see if the signal strength and performance are acceptable.
