Gmail:

 

Create an App Password in your Google account:

1. Go to your Google Account.
2. Select Security.
3. Under "Signing in to Google," select 2-Step Verification.
4. At the bottom of the page, select App passwords.
5. Enter a name that helps you remember where you’ll use the app password.
6. Select Generate.
7. To enter the app password, follow the instructions on your screen. The app password is the 16-character code that generates on your device.
8. Select Done.

 

On the Email page of the TPDIN-SC48-20, enter the following:

1. Recipient Email Address: your Gmail or other email address
2. From Email Address: your Gmail email address
3. Mail Server: smtp.gmail.com
4. Port: 587
5. Username: your Gmail email address
6. Password: the App Password you created in your Google account
7. Click the “Test Email Settings” button

 

Microsoft Outlook and Office 365:

 

Create an App Password in your Microsoft account:

Method 1: Using the Security Basics page (for personal accounts)

1. Go to the Security basics page and sign in to your Microsoft account.
2. Select More security options.
3. Under App passwords, select Create a new app password.
4. Choose a descriptive name for the app you're creating the password for (e.g., "Outlook desktop").
5. Click Next.
6. Copy the app password that appears on your screen. This is a unique password you'll use instead of your regular Microsoft account password for the chosen app.
7. Paste the app password into the app's login field and save your settings.

Method 2: Using the My Account page (for work or school accounts)

1. Sign in to your work or school account on the My Account page.
2. Select Security info from the left navigation pane or the link in the Security info block.
3. Click Add method and choose App password from the list. Then, select Add.
4. Enter a name for the app and click Next.
5. Copy the app password and use it in the app's login field.

 

On the Email page of the TPDIN-SC48-20, enter the following:

1. Recipient Email Address: any email address
2. From Email Address: your Microsoft email address
3. Mail Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com or smtp.office365.com
4. Port: 587
5. Username: your Microsoft email address
6. Password: the App Password you created in your Microsoft account

Create an App Password in your Yahoo account:

1. Sign in to your Yahoo Account Security page.
2. Click Generate app password or Generate and manage app passwords.
3. Enter your app's name in the text field.
4. Click Generate password.
5. Follow the instructions below the app password.
6. Click Done.

 

On the Email page of the TPDIN-SC48-20, enter the following:

1. Recipient Email Address: any email address
2. From Email Address: your Yahoo email address
3. Mail Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
4. Port: 587
5. Username: your Yahoo email address
6. Password: the App Password you created in your Yahoo account
7. Click the “Test Email Settings” button
